2010

So obviously 2010 was a bit too busy cause I managed to not make a single post for the whole year... So here is a little synopsis of the past year:
-I found a job in started in February. I'm working as an administrative assistant for a company called Farmland Management Services. They manage farms across the country and their corporate offices are in Turlock. I love it!
-Bobby completed another semester of school and is doing great. His plan now is to go the business direction which is exciting to have a direction and goal to be working toward.
-Bobby also was hired on for full time at Carmax which is soo nice when it comes to payday!
-We finally were able to move out of my parents and into our own apartment in March. Its tiny, but cute and finally coming together and soo nice to have our own place. The only thing I dislike is not having a washer and dryer, but the location is perfect for us, so I can live without them for now.
-We went on lots of fun little trips with our both our families and loved every minute away from the daily grind!
-We finally got to go back to Disneyland after not going for 2 years... pictures to follow
-and last but but not least we gained another adorable niece.
I know there is lots I've left out, but that's pretty much the main points. I'm hoping to be better from here on out with blogging, so we will see. Beware of the amount of pictures you might get to see, I want to make sure I post the best on here (which happen to come in mas amounts lol). Oh and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year; hope yours were as great as ours!

Monterey in September!

Bobby gets one weekend off every six weeks and it ended up working out for all of us to go to Monterey for the weekend. Phil had to come to California to work so Jill, Parker, Dixie and him meet us is Monterey for a weekend of family and fun!
We started off our first day by getting yummy lunch at a place called Archie's. It was great to all be together again! Here we are all eatingWhat a good looking family we have!

Next came just hanging out. We enjoyed walking around town and enjoying the beautiful day!

Then came the tide pools of which we went to both days we were there. We never fail to have such a fun time while exploring around; the tide pools are constantly changing and there's always new things to see. This time the boys went on the search for crabs and they definitely didn't come up empty handed. The found both an albino crab and a pretty big one for the tide pools.
Next came the beach. Chad, Bobby and Jake all rented boogie boards and wetsuits and had fun boogie boarding. The rest of us hung out on the beach eating dinner, enjoying Parker and Dixie, and sitting around the fire.
Last but not least was the seals and Fisherman's Wharf. We always have a good time there and this time was no exception. There was a man at the end of the wharf that had a whole bunch of birds and the kids all got to hold one, it was cool!

We had a great weekend and were definitely sad to leave but had a great two weeks ahead of us with Jill, Phil (on the weekends), Parker and Dixie with us in Modesto! Family is the best and I am soo thankful I have an eternal one!

Wakeboarding

So I'm really bad at this whole keeping up your blog thing, but my goal now is to get better. Life has finally decided to flow at a steady rate allowing for more of a routine, creating a little more free time!

Ok so back in August Chad and Clair took out Clair's dad's boat and brought the whole family with them! It was a great day full of plenty of sun, food and lots of fun. At about 4:30pm we dropped off half the family to head back home, they had their fill of wakeboarding for the day, but Chad, Bobby, Jake, Sam and I were not done so we stayed out. Bobby was on what became his last run wakeboarding and after eating it, the board popped up and hit him in the eye. He was soo worried that he had lost his eye because he couldn't open it at first. We had no idea it had happened until we pulled him in to get back on the boat and found this....He soon realized his eye was still there but didn't realize this purple mountain was located on hs face. lol! He, of course, still had a smile on and was happy as happy could be that he was even out wakeboarding again. We decided tho, that we all had enough for the day and didn't want anymore injuries. We got home at about 10:30pm and were completely exhausted to the point of not even being able to move, but it sure was a great day!!! Thanks Chad and Clair!

About a week later this is what the eye looked like...

And two weeks later...

It's of course all gone now, but it was definitely a nice shinner.

So here are some picture of some of us hanging out and having fun on the boat

Needless to say we all had a BLAST!!!

Back In California!

We have been back in California now for about a little over a month and lots has happened. I got my job back at the medical billing office in Oakdale except I'm in a new department. Its definietly something different and a challenge some days but I like it. Bobby also got a new job at Carmax! He loves it and just got done with all his traing this past week and now gets to start selling cars on his own! They are a great company to work for and are very pleased with his progress, so we couldn't be happier! Bobby also started school at MJC and is trying to get back in the swing of school after not going in over 3 years, but its going great! He is taking 17 credits and so far doing pretty good. Its soo nice to be turning the next page in the book of our lives and working to get even closer to our goals. Marriage is great and I love being a wife! Life is wonderful and we couldn't be happier together!!!

Vegas!

It has been way too long and I finally have a little bit of free time so I thought I better do an update. We are back in California and loving it here, but miss our cute little apartment in Vegas. Here are some pictures of our first place together!

We loved this apartment and it was a great little place to have as our first apartment, but we are definitely glad to be back in California and on the next chapter of our lives!

Nike Golf

So Bobby has been wanting his own golf clubs for sometime now. He loves to golf and tries to go often, but he has always had to borrow some one's clubs or share with his buddies. That isn't such a bad thing, but when you live in Las Vegas and are nowhere near friends, there isn't anyone that you can borrow clubs from... So we have now resolved this problem and bought him some of his own!
He has been working his butt off trying to get as many accounts as possible while out here in Vegas selling pest control and so I figured that this would be a little incentive to keep him going and also a nice reward for his hard work. So now he has some very nice and new Nike Sumo Irons and a Sumo 2 Driver with a putter on the way and a nice bag to follow! I'm very excited for him and he has decided this is going to be his new passion. He loved racing and still does, but with a wife, a family to come along in the future, school, and a future career in the medical field, racing just wasn't something that fit in financially and for safety purposes. He still plans on helping his brothers out and maybe getting our future sons involved, but for now its all about golf!
Here are some pictures of him opening his very exciting package with his golf clubs in it. He was just like a little kid opening his first gift on Chirstmas; it was funny. More pictures to come...
